Η έννοια του αθλήματος, sport αγγλιστί, δίνεται παρακάτω (from Wikipedia):

Δεδομένου του ότι ούτε κανόνες υπάρχουν (καταγεγραμένοι και συμφωνημένοι), ούτε υπάρχει η έννοια του ανταγωνισμού (εκτός βέβαια αν λάβεις τις θέσεις του Dimitris K για ποιός πάει πιο βαθειά με αέρα
)... η αυτόνομη κατάδυση ΔΕΝ είναι άθλημα/σπορ.
Αυτό είναι το (διπλό) τεστ που μία δραστηριότητα πρέπει να περνάει για να χαρακτηριστεί Άθλημα/Sport και όχι το επίπεδο άσκησης ή μη που απαιτεί η δραστηριότητα (Άλλωστε η σκοποβολή δεν χρειάζεται σχεδόν κανένα επίπεδο μυικής άσκσης.)
