Καινουργιες εκπαιδευτικες βαθμιδες απο την SSI σε μια προσπαθεια να ξεκαθαρισει προφανως/ ισως το τοπιο γυρω απο τις βαθμιδες Divemaster και Assistant Instructor....καθως μεχρι προσφατως υπηρχε μονο η εκπαιδευτικη βαθμιδα Dive Control Specialist, η οποια ειχε ορισθει κατι ''μεταξυ'' Divemaster και Assistant Instructor.

SSI’s NEW Dive Professional pathway includes; Dive Guide, Divemaster, Dive Control Specialist and Training Specialist.

To make sure that all facets of training are done in a succinct way and that the training methodology remains part of the student training model, the SSI Dive Guide is a brand new entry point to give Dive Professionals the much needed experience in leading and guiding dives for certified divers.

Add SSI’s NEW physics and physiology specialty manual – Science of Diving, and the Dive Guide becomes a Divemaster who can not only lead dives, he/she can assist SSI Instructors with students in training.

Then, add the Dive Control Specialist program to Divemaster and you are now trained to be a Dive Control Specialist, which is an industry equivalent of Assistant Instructor. Once you have attained the rating of Dive Control Specialist (Assistant Instructor), you can become a Training Specialist and teach SSI Continuing Education.
