<<Hybrid BCD’s have come into more popularity over the past few years. Hybrid BCD’s typically have smaller areas of the bladder that extend around to the sides similar to that of a jacket or vest style. The hybrid BCD comes in a couple of different configurations as well. Some of them are true hybrids in the sense that have integrated bladders that wrap around partially. Others have clips that draw the back-inflated bladder forward and around to the side.
