Dear fellow divers,

we have to stress, and please let someone disagree with this, but i dont think that there will be anyone, that:

It is VERY SAFE to dive within the training envelope you have received from your training organization. Be that PADI, CMAS, GUE, or any other recognized training organization.

Experience, good dive buddies, continued education, and THINKING can add to your performance and safety envelope.

On the other hand, no amount of training from the strictest organization, or instructor, is going to save the life of an idiot that stresses the limits of his body, brain, equipment and lack.

So, have faith in your training and your capabilities, get to learn your dive buddies, augment your knowledge and dive safely.

And try to enjoy the time underwater. we dont dive to look at our shiny console, super-duper dive computer with breath-alcohol-level analyzer, or magically self-healing (but split to the bone) flippers! (coming to think of this, i own all of the above!)

We dive to be with the fish, and (knock on wood) none of my fellow divers has so far suffered through "unsafe" training. Nuff said.

Sorry for the English, but it would take me about an hour to write this is greek and the fish are getting cold!
