Απάντηση: Blocks of green "glass" on old wreck site ... any idea?
Hi Jerome
Are you sure it was green and not brown ? A friend of mine have found a similar item in marathon gulf. It was resin. Resin was to be one of the materials that nations from Asia used for constricring the ships. Greeks were using tar from other materials. An occasion is that the resin was from the hull of a persian ships that sunk in marathon gulf after the marathon battle. Another occasion is that the resin was merchandise that the ship was carrying. I will try to find the photos and i will come back. Dimitris Τελευταία επεξεργασία από το χρήστη Dimitris : 15-02-11 στις 21:43. |
